Fisherman's Fly Box perfered outfitter! Jim Mitchell at Montana Hunting and Fishing Adventures has over 40 years of fly fishing experience. He operates in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana which is just west of the Continental Divide and about halfway between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. The beautiful Bitterroot Valley is 96 miles long, 25 miles wide and know for some of the best blue ribbon fisheries in the country. It is nestled between the rugged peaks of the Bitterroot Rockies on the west side and the rolling Sapphire Mountains on the east.  Montana Hunting and Fishing Adventures is a family owned and operated business. Jim was born and raised in the Bitterroot Valley of western Montana. He has been involved in the outfitting business since 1969 (over 40 years). Jim’s family has lived in Montana for five generations moving to the Bitterroot Valley four generations ago.
