Griffith GnatGriffiths Gnat imitates an adult midge (or cluster of midges) and is useful during midge hatches. While trout feed primarily on pupa during a midge hatch, they are often receptive to a well-presented Griffiths.
RenegadeThe Renegade is a traditional pattern used during midge hatches and as a searching pattern. The peacock herl gives this fly a very "buggy" look. Available in sizes #10-18, although #14-18 is the most commonly used. Also useful in locating trout when there is no hatch taking place.
